Open House 2008 Review

Our Fleetwood Grange President Kenneth Schlegel opened with a discussion the Grange's community involvement and encouraging others to join the Grange and become involved also.

A surprise visitor was our Pennsylvania State Grange President Betsy Huber who also talked about the Grange.

The Mayor of Fleetwood discussed items of local interest such as plans for the future of Fleetwood Park and the Tannery site.

The Mayor of Fleetwood also received an award from the Grange for his service to the community.

The Grange Dairy Princess and Junior Grange and Youth leadership also gave discussions relating to youth involvement in the Grange.

Everyone enjoyed some humor from the comedy team "Something Dutch" who presented jokes in both English and the Pennsylvania Dutch dialect.

The "Something Dutch" team got some help from the audience to demonstate how to make a Pennsylvania Dutch telephone system.

The wealth of musical talent among the youth at the Fleetwood Grange was evident as the Rohrbach Family and Dennis Bauscher performed a variety of musical selections for the listening pleasure of the audience.

There was a good turnout of both members and visitors for the Fleetwood Grange Open House.
